Individual therapy for adults in New York and New Jersey

Therapy is a space that’s entirely yours — to slow down, reflect, and better understand what’s beneath the surface.

Individual Therapy

I offer virtual therapy to adults in 50-minute individual sessions.

As your therapist, I aim to offer you a time and space that is fully yours, to talk through and process whatever is on your mind or the barriers you see in your way.  Everyone seeks out therapy for different reasons, but also for the same reason: to make a positive change in their life.

Whether you’re navigating a life transition, feeling stuck, or struggling with stress, we’ll work together to better understand your thoughts and emotions — and identify what’s getting in the way of the changes you want to make.

My Approach

My approach is grounded in building a genuine connection — one where trust, openness, and curiosity guide the work we do together.

In our sessions, we’ll explore how early experiences and relationships have shaped your inner world, helping you make sense of recurring patterns and emotional responses.

I aim to create an atmosphere that feels safe, collaborative, and real.

Areas of Focus

I work with adults experiencing a range of challenges, including:

• Anxiety
• Depression
• Grief
• Chronic Illness
• Relationship Difficulties
• Life Transitions
• Self-Esteem
• Stress
• Coping Skills

Each person’s experience is unique, so therapy is always tailored to you and your goals.

What to Expect

The first few sessions are focused on getting to know each other and coming up with some goals you hope to reach in therapy. From there, we’ll find a rhythm that feels comfortable — typically meeting once a week.

The frequency of sessions can be coordinated to suit your schedule and lifestyle but I encourage weekly sessions, if possible, for continuity and maintaining progress.

Sessions are a mix of exploration and practical reflection. My goal is for you to leave with more clarity about what you’re feeling and why, as well as small, realistic ways to approach things differently in daily life.
